What the complaint alleges
- Oct. 23, 2025: Feliz is hired as Site Coordinator for the MOST Afterschool Program at Linden School — 30 hours a week, $35.15 an hour, supervising staff and overseeing compliance with safety and reporting requirements.
- Nov. 2025 – Feb. 2026: The complaint alleges afterschool staff regularly called out, causing the program to fall below the state-required 1-to-10 adult-to-student ratio under 606 CMR 7.00, and that staff refused to file required incident reports.
- Late January 2026: The complaint alleges a child expressed intent to self-harm, and that the district's administration did not inform the afterschool program or Feliz. Separately, the complaint alleges the MOST Director was told a staff member was under the influence of alcohol on school property during a school event, and did not report or follow up.
- October, November, and January: The complaint alleges Feliz raised concerns about retaliation from staff and parents, and that the MOST Director dismissed or declined to report those concerns.
- Feb. 26, 2026: Feliz's employment is terminated. She is directed to return her ID badge, closet key, MOST cell phone, and laptop to Jennie McGoldrick, MOST Director.
- April 23, 2026: Feliz requests her pay stubs from the district's Human Resources department, stating she appeared to be missing her final paycheck. She calculates the shortfall at $843.60.
- Aug. 10, 2026: Feliz files suit, alleging retaliation under federal OSHA whistleblower law, nonpayment of final wages under the Massachusetts Wage Act, and retaliation under the Massachusetts Whistleblower Act, plus a wrongful-termination claim.
